Founder, Co-Owner, Moving On
In 1995, when SolAire was just an idea for a new home building company, Cindi led a group of friends and interested parties through a visioning process that later became the long term focus for SolAire Homebuilders. Since 2006 Cindi has worked directly with the SolAire Team to lead the sales and marketing for the company. Re-visioning the company several times towards net zero energy homes has been her key role. Leading clients from their personal goals for a new house to a finished custom, healthy, energy efficient, sustainable home was the most rewarding aspect of her dedication to SolAire.
Today Cindi has moved on to inspire volunteers across Central, Coastal Oregon, and Northern California Rotary Clubs to serve those in need in their local communities and around the world. Rotary International, having suddenly added a new area of focus: “Supporting the Environment,” is a fortunate coincidence for Cindi. She will be helping Rotary understand the significance and possible actions that will make supporting the environment a reality in local communities.
Although not involved in the daily details of SolAire, Cindi is still in the background with her husband Mike, encouraging and helping evolve the nature and technology behind the SolAire sustainable home.
