Water Efficiency
Earth Advantage Platinum Certification combines the attributes
of Gold-level certifications for Energy Efficiency, Healthier
Indoor Air and Environmental and Water Efficiency in a home
designed to perform significantly better than one built in
accordance with standard construction practices.
Requirements:

House must meet Earth Advantage base and Gold Certification
criteria for Energy Efficiency*, Healthier Indoor Air,
Environmental and Water Efficiency

House must perform 40% better than a similar house built to
Oregon code requirements

become more feasible. Earth Advantage requires that a
high performance heating and cooling system be
installed. The program is open to alternative space
heating and cooling options. Please check with your
Earth Advantage representative.

fixtures

Pressure relief in each bedroom

Framing materials: Kiln-dried wood or equivalent (19%
moisture content)

Formaldehyde-free insulation

Filtration system rated at MERV 12 or better
